Pubs

Hatfield HouseIn recent years Belfast Pubs have risen like the proverbial phoenix from an offering once called a ‘ham sandwich’ to a cuisine style that is a competition to the best restaurants. Don’t be surprised to find our pubs at lunchtime  jam packed with ravenous diners which of course speaks volumes about the quality of food that's on offer.

Bittle’s Bar is one of our more unique properties triangular in shape and with a fine reputation for its lunch; just around the corner is the Kitchen Bar a well known eaterie since 1859; tucked away down Joy’s Entry you’ll find McCracken’s Café Bar a popular lunchtime venue with local business people.

Down a narrow thoroughfare, Waring Street, you will find the Cloth Ear with a great reputation for good food. Reckoned by many to be the hippest place in town The Grill Room & Bar at Ten Square just behind City Hall has such a fine reputation for its food that its often standing room only. You step back in history when you enter the Morning Star in Pottinger’s Entry, once a coaching house for the Belfast to Dublin Mail Coach.
