The Great Room Restaurant features cosmopolitan menus that unite influences from around the world, while honouring the best of traditional Irish, British and French classics. This is a show case for food as it should be, using the best of local produce reflecting the changing seasons.
Enhancing the stunning food experience is a carefully constructed wine list which also changes regularly to reflect the flavours of each season.
Architecturally The Great Room Restaurant is the jewel in the crown of The Merchant Hotel. The stunning interior design of this restaurant is distinguished by the magnificent central enamelled glass cupola, suspended from which is Ireland’s largest chandelier. This was specially commissioned by The Merchant Hotel from local company Tyrone Crystal.
The Great Room Restaurant is open daily for Breakfast, Lunch, Traditional Afternoon Tea, accompanied by live piano on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and sumptuous à la Carte Dining with a superb wine list created in conjunction with Jane Boyce (Master of Wine).
The Merchant Evening Set Menu: 3 courses for £25.00 Served Monday to Thursday from 6pm to 10pm. Full à la carte menu also available.
Business Lunches in The Great Room Restaurant: 2 courses for £16.50, 3 courses for £19.50 2 courses including a half carafe of house wine, mineral water and tea or coffee for £26.50 3 courses including a half carafe of house wine, mineral water and tea or coffee for £29.50 Served Monday to Friday from 12pm – 2.30pm. Full à la carte menu also available.
Sunday Lunch: 2 courses £19.50, 3 courses £23.50 Served every Sunday from 12pm – 9pm Full à la carte menu also available.
