Description

Tim McGarry's Irish History Lesson is back by popular demand! Find out why they were rioting in the Ardoyne and Carlisle Circus this year - because their grandparents and great-grandparents were doing the same thing. Why can't we get over 1690 and 1916? Because we take our history too seriously. Tim McGarry takes on the task of looking at the funny side of invasion, wars, famine and The Troubles. From the land of Saints and Scholars to Edwin Poots and Barry McElduff, from Rory O'Donnell fleeing Ireland in 1607 to Rory McIlroy fleeing in 2012. Contains strong language.
