With three universities and numerous schools of higher education there are always workshops and lectures taking place in the city covering everything from modern European languages (including English) to Italian cinema to Celtic goldwork to Irish literature of the early 20^th Century. All three universities run exciting programmes that don’t cost the earth and there are independent workshops taking place throughout the city, some taking place over the lunchtime with others taking place over the course of a few days or weeks.
