Morrison, by way of awesome guitar players, traditional and folk,
to punk rock and Hollywood soundtracks.
Start at the iconic Ulster Hall on Bedford Street,
then hop on the bus and immerse yourself in the landscape that
inspired Van Morrison’s ‘Astral Weeks’. Discover Belfast’s diverse
musical giants from Ruby Murray, to Gary Moore and Stiff Little
Fingers.
Finish up at the Oh Yeah Music Centre, Cathedral
Quarter – an exciting music hub where today’s talent
thrives.

Now in her 21st year, the Limelight on Ormeau Avenue remains a key
Belfast music venue, hosting acts from Foy Vance and David Holmes
to Paul Weller, Oasis, The Strokes, Jeff Buckley and Primal Scream.
And since sister venue the Spring & Airbrake opened next door 6
years ago, that roll call has grown to include the Answer, Biffy
Clyro, and the Magic Numbers. Between them, they’ve archived
a wonderful collection of memorabilia and it’s now on exhibition in
the Spring and Airbrake lobby and the Limelight entrance.
