Due to popular demand Lizzie Kennedy has decided to return to what she loves and knows best – teaching cookery.  Lizzie ran the successful ‘who’s cooking’ cookery school, (Northern Ireland’s first) before moving to live in Washington DC in 2006.

Now back home, Lizzie’s Kitchen based in her bright, sunny home is ideally located just 10 minutes from the Lisburn Road, close to Drumbo village.  The main kitchen has stunning views over Belfast city where small groups cook together in a relaxed, informal setting during the day or evening.

“Perfect for both the enthusiastic beginner and the more confident cook, there’s plenty of one to one guidance and time to ask questions, acquire knife and presentation skills, along with short cuts and shopping tips” says Lizzie.  “My style is modern and fresh, using quality, locally sourced seasonal ingredients as far as possible.  I like to think of myself as a cook not a chef – no tantrums here if something goes wrong, in fact that all adds to the experience, its knowing how to put things right that’s important.”

Lizzie's Cookery School offers a variety of practical classes.……. ‘Easy Dinner Parties’, ‘Al Fresco Summer Entertaining’, ‘Thai and Oriental Delights” and many more.  A great formula for team building or a day away from the office, classes can also be tailor made for individuals or groups.
