A beautiful and enjoyable parkland golf course only a few miles from Belfast city centre, with expert coaching available from the world renowned David Leadbetter Golf Academy.

Sitting just on the outskirts of Belfast and only fifteen minutes drive from the City Centre, Shandon Park is a tree lined parkland golf course that offers an enjoyable experience for all standards of players. The Club is renowned for competitive golf throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe and the course is maintained to a high standard, with some of the best greens you will experience.

The Club has hosted professional and amateur championships over many years and is the home club of Michael Hoey, Amateur Champion in 2000 and winner of several professional tournaments, including the Estoril Open de Portugal in 2009.

The gently sloping course at the foot of the Castlereagh Hills is easily walked and affords excellent views over Belfast. The fairways are generous but the fast, well guarded greens make the course a good challenge for golfers of all abilities. The short downhill tenth is the signature hole on the golf course, with Belfast and the Antrim Hills on the horizon.

The clubhouse and restaurant have fine views over the course where you can enjoy the excellent cuisine. A large function room and smaller members' room are available for corporate functions or entertainment.
Clubs, equipment and buggies can be provided for visitors who will be assured of a warm welcome to one of the friendliest and most active golf clubs in Ireland.

David Leadbetter Golf Academy
Coaches from the world renowned David Leadbetter Golf Academy attend the Club regularly throughout the year and arrangements can be made for individual lessons or group clinics by a Senior Leadbetter Instructor.  Pupils receive a DVD record of their lesson as a souvenir of this unique coaching experience and as an aid to their game improvement.
Shandon Park has well equipped indoor teaching areas that allow coaching to continue no matter what the weather conditions.
