The annual Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival is one of Europe’s liveliest festivals presenting top acts in new theatre, comedy, music, literature, circus, street theatre, film, visual art and family events.

For ten days and nights, “Belfast’s classiest arts festival” (© Guardian Guide) fills every available space in the city’s burgeoning cultural quarter with an eclectic and bamboozling bill of delights - hot and sweaty gigs, cutting edge comedy, controversial talks, experimental performances and one-man shows, from both new and established talent.

Previous performers have included Germaine Greer, The Fall, Liam Clancy, Phil Kay and John Cooper Clarke.

The Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival was launched at the beginning of April 2000, and has grown from strength to strength.
