Established in 1995 Moving on Music is the premier promoter of quality jazz, blues, world, traditional and electronic music in Belfast. The company is managed by an independent board of directors and currently employs 2 full-time and 1 part-time member of staff with over 30 years collective experience in music and event management.

Its aim is to provide a diverse range of music entertainment and education services to all the community, to develop opportunities for local artists in the music industry, and to increase and improve links with similar organisations, industries and companies on a national and international scale.

Moving on Music run an annual programme of one-off concerts, club events and workshops in all styles of music in various venues around Northern Ireland.

Each year on average the company co-ordinates 7 national and cross border tours in classical, traditional, world, rock and jazz music.

Blueprint is a new music showcases and organises 8 showcases in Belfast and 2 national and cross border tours per year.
Education and Outreach programmes are delivered in partnership with schools, community groups, local authorities, arts organisations and collectives.

The company also offer consultancy and event management services for various companies and organisations across Northern Ireland. They also represent various local artists in our capacity as a booking agency.
