Activities

Getting active doesn’t have to mean endless hours in the great outdoors, as Belfast offers a host of alternative activities that are just as much fun! Get your skates on at Northern Ireland’s premier ice rink or for the more competitive, why not shoot some pool, or go for a strike at one of Belfast’s state of the art bowling alleys?

For visitors and locals alike, Belfast offers cyclists lots of options to explore. The Lagan and Lough Cycle Way provides a total of 21 miles of flat, traffic-free, scenic paths, connecting Lisburn to Newtownabbey and following the beautiful Lagan Towpath and Belfast Lough.

Belfast is a sports fan’s ideal city. Ice Hockey is our new passion and we avidly follow the exploits of the Belfast Giants in their home ground the Odyssey Arena. Why not squeeze in a game of Gaelic Football, an exciting mix of soccer and rugby, or catch some Hurling, it's fast pace and athleticism is sure to leave you breathless and wanting more.
