SS Nomadic was built alongside Titanic at Harland & Wolff in 1911, specifically to carry the 1st and 2nd class passengers out to the ill-fated liner and her sisters when they called into the French port of Cherbourg.
Many of her interior fixtures and fittings are identical to those onboard the Giant Liner, truly making Nomadic, 'Titanic's little sister'!
SS Nomadic is currently undergoing refurbishment and is closed to the public. She is due to reopen summer 2008. |
