Built in 1897 by the Naughton brothers of Randalstown, Clonard Monastery was designed in early French Gothic style by Ludwig Oppenheimer, Clonard is home to the Redemptorists, who were founded in Italy in 1732.
Monastery Open for visitors: Monday to Friday: 9.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m., and 2.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m. Saturday: 9.00 a.m. – 9.00 p.m. Sunday: 9.00 a.m. – 1.30 p.m.
Music at Clonard is a longstanding tradition. The website ‘Music Nights’ lists all forthcoming recitals and performances which can range from classical to modern covering all genres in between.

WEEKDAYS: 7 a.m., 9.30 a.m. and 6.15 p.m.
THURSDAYS: Mass times: 7.00 a.m. and Novena Masses at 9.30 a.m., 4.00 p.m., 6.l5 pm. and 9 pm.
SATURDAY: 7:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., VOCATIONS MASS 12 Noon Vigil mass 7.30 p.m.
CONFESSIONS Mon, Tue, Wed: Before 9.30 a.m. Mass
Thursday (Novena Day): Before and after each Novena Session (except 7.00 a.m.)
Friday: Before 9.30 a.m. and 6.15 p.m. Masses
Saturday: Before 9.30 a.m. Mass, 11.00 – 12 Noon, 12.30 p.m. – 1.00 p.m., 4.30 p.m. – 7.30 p.m. Confessions will cease as soon as Mass begins. Confessions will not be heard in the Church during Mass or on Holy Days.
Confessions/Priest to talk with A Priest is available at any time during the day, on request, by asking at the Monastery Reception. (Except 1 pm – 2 p.m.)
