custom_house_squareThe ‘Energy Saving Trust Gateway to the Tall Ships’, Thurs 13 to Sun 16 August promises four days of entertainment in Custom House Square, showcasing the freshest and most exciting talent in Belfast.

Free entertainment until 6pm with plenty to amuse the kids.lau

Evening programme runs from 8pm to midnight.

The evening entertainment is an eclectic celebration of global and local influences including Mexican and Indian traditions, New Orleans style jazz and contemporary sounds with a licensed bar and catering facilities on site.

Thursday night’s ‘Celtic Welcome’ headliner is traditional music blues fusion act Four Men and a Dog, with support from BBC Radio Two Award Winners, Lau.

battlefieldFriday’s ‘From the Highlands to our Ireland’ features Scottish music headliners, the Battlefield Band.

Saturday’s ‘Salsa Fiesta’ includes a salsa dance workshop and the hot blooded Cuban sound of Orquesta Caché.flook

And Sunday’s ‘Titanic World Ceilidh’ features a unique performance by Flook and friends. Expect a few surprises, special guests and dancers making this a fantastic finale to a phenomenal event.
