The following terms and conditions apply to all orders for the purchase of goods from the gotobelfast.com website. This is the official website for Belfast Visitor & Convention Bureau and the Belfast Welcome Centre.

You may only place an order for goods if you agree to these Terms & Conditions. By placing an order you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions as governing your order. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

All profits made from the sale of goods in this catalogue are paid to the Belfast Visitor & Convention Bureau/Belfast Welcome Centre.

Belfast Visitor & Convention Bureau (BVCB) is a private company Limited by Guarantee and fully conforms to the UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000

BVCB presents items as an invitation for sale and reserves the right to refuse sales without giving reason.

All prices are in £ GBP Pounds Sterling (UK Pounds) Euros and American dollars so making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse in web store, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click to "Go to payments" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to process your order. We accept: Visa, Delta, MasterCard, and Maestro. You may send your credit card information via the Internet. If you prefer to order by credit card over the phone then you need to ring the following number during office hours on +44 28 90246609.

Your order will only be processed if your credit card billing address and security code can be verified by our credit card payment acquisition company PayPal.

You undertake that all details you provide to Belfast Visitor & Convention Bureau for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods or services are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered. If you supply incorrect or inaccurate address details and your order is returned to us as a result of this a charge will be made for re-delivery.

Tax

All orders are inclusive of all UK taxes. If you are an international customer, it is your responsibility to pay any extra taxes due on the goods. We will not accept responsibility for any action taken by customs in your country. All non EU international deliveries include a customs sticker notifying customs of the goods contained within the package.

VAT

Most prices listed include VAT. (Although some products such as maps/books/prints/children's clothing are vat exempt). For customers outside the EEC (who are VAT exempt) VAT will be deducted from the total price of goods once the appropriate mailing address has been inserted.

Purchasing

When you submit your order you are allowing BVCB to use your personal details to fulfil your order. In the event of there being a problem with your credit card - PayPal will communicate with you and if on receipt of payment there is a problem with your order BVCB will communicate with you via e-mail, telephone or letter.

The supply of goods from this site is subject to availability. If for any reason the item is not available or temporarily out of stock this will be highlighted to you and an estimated date by which items should be in stock will be given.

Product Descriptions

Every effort is made to be as accurate as possible in our descriptions, specifications, colours and prices. However, these may change due to circumstances beyond our control. Sizes are given as a guide only. Please be aware that handmade items are subject to variations in size, colour and shape owing to the unique nature of the product.

Delivery

Our deliveries are managed by us through a company (TDS) who use a national parcel carrier for delivery and you should ensure that someone is available to receive the parcel.

All orders will be shipped via Royal Mail - First Class Postage up to 2000gms and via Parcelforce from 2001 - 5000gms.

We recommend for added security and to receive compensation for failed delivery that you choose either recorded delivery for UK deliveries or International signed for outside UK deliveries.

How our delivery is calculated:

Recorded Delivery

An additional £0.75 pence will be included in the UK postage Prices to cover Recorded Delivery within the UK. This includes Royal Mail compensation up to £28. A signature is required for the delivery of recorded delivery items. For recorded delivery items we will provide you with a tracking number. You may track your parcel at www.royalmail.com

International Signed For

An additional £3.75 will be included to all orders going to Europe/Rest of World to ensure all orders are signed for when delivered. This includes Royal Mail compensation up to £30. A signature is required for the delivery of recorded delivery items. For recorded delivery items we will provide you with a tracking number. You may track your parcel at www.royalmail.com

All orders (Monday to Friday) received prior to 12.00 noon are guaranteed to be fulfilled and dispatched that day.

Damaged/Faulty Goods and Returns

In the event that any item(s) purchased proves to be unsatisfactory in use due to defective workmanship, faulty material or damage caused in transit you can return them to us within 14 days for a replacement or a full refund. We strongly recommend keeping a proof/certificate of posting. Before returning your goods you must contact our customers service department 0044 2890246609 or email info@belfastvisitor.com to receive a return merchandise authorisation number (RMA) and download (Downloadable in PDF format) and complete a returns goods form , both of which must be included when you return your package to:

Your statutory rights are not affected.

When we have received the item(s), we will issue a refund or replacement(s), whichever is requested. We will only refund the postage paid when the item is found to be defective or incorrectly supplied from the original order.

Order Cancellation and Amendments.

Please note that once an order has been placed we are unable to cancel the order or make any amendments to the address or items ordered.

You are entitled to return the whole order in its original packaging and condition for a full refund.

Where a refund is claimed please allow 30 days for us to refund your money.
