Tuesday, 22 April 2008

Antrim Borough’s new Visitor and Accommodation Guide is packed full of useful information and is sure to be a winner with visitors to the area.

Kevin Guinchard, Visitor Servicing Officer, Antrim Borough Council says, ‘Our visitor numbers have been steadily increasing and this new guide will provide up-to-date information on the Borough’s expanding list of attractions including Clementsmount Fun Farm in Crumlin, World of Owls in Randalstown, Paintballing at Shane’s Castle.  The guide also features some of the finest sporting and leisure offerings in Northern Ireland, including Allen Park and Antrim Forum, fishing on Lough Neagh and in the Borough’s many rivers or walking and cycling in our stunning forests and parklands.’

The guide also provides an extensive listing of accommodation in Antrim Borough, everything from 4 star hotels to luxury guest houses and B&Bs to the Six Mile Water Caravan Park with glorious views over magnificent Lough Neagh.

Kevin concludes: ‘Although the guide is produced primarily for visitors to the area, there is so much information in it that local residents may also find it very useful when planning day trips in the Borough.’
