St George’s Market

One of Belfast’s oldest attractions, this elegant building was built between 1890 and 1896 and is one of the best markets in the UK and Ireland. It has been voted for numerous local and national titles and awards for its fresh, local produce and great atmosphere. It holds a weekly Friday Variety Market as well as the City Food and Garden Market on Saturdays. It also hosts a range of events throughout the year.

Smithfield Market

Smithfield Market is located in the heart of Belfast's retail district, opposite Castle Court. The shopping mall has 28 retail units offering everything from exotic animals, specialist food, collectibles and souvenirs and specialist sports equipment.

Christmas Continental Market

Once again the City Hall grounds will come alive with dozens of market stalls offering a stunning range of crafts, food and decorations from across Europe, and beyond, to delight the Christmas shopper seeking original gifts. This year it promises to be even bigger and better than ever with traders from as far afield as the North Pole, Asia, Africa and the United States. Market open to 19 December.
