Background to BVCB

Belfast Visitor & Convention Bureau was established in 1999 to promote Belfast as a major leisure and business tourism destination.

There is an extensive gift shop at our Belfast Welcome Centre in Donegall Place offering a huge range of gifts from books, jewellery, clothing, linen, CD’s, DVD’s to confectionary and more.

We also have our online shop Belfast Gifts which offers almost as many items as the Welcome Centre shop and we will despatch to any destination in the world. Our Welcome Centre at Belfast International Airport carries a small range of gifts.

We have four distinct websites catering for different markets:

www.gotobelfast.com

www.belfastconventionbureau.com

www.luxurybelfast.com

www.cruise-belfast.co.uk

The Belfast Convention Bureau is charged with promoting incoming convention business to Belfast. In recent years Belfast has positively mushroomed with world class, state of the art convention and meeting facilities and we have a specialised team who work in this dynamic area.

Luxury Belfast is a new and exciting venture for the city and one that both developers and entrepreneurs have readily taken to heart providing us with properties and facilities that match anything found in the traditional luxury destinations of Europe.

Cruise Belfast is a natural extension of our well documented maritime heritage and caters for the growing number of cruise ships which visit our city throughout the year. It offers cruise passengers and tour operators with invaluable advice on destination Belfast and it provides cruise passengers with a vital source of pre-arrival information to make their brief visit as fun filled as possible.
